- Each slab measures 1407mm by 1207mm
- Capacity of the cabin: 189 places (standing)
- Integration without any modification of the flooring structure
- Laminated, tempered and treated glass “heat, soak”
Since 2003, it has been possible to ski on both Les Arcs/Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne areas continuously thanks to the opening of the Paradiski link with the Vanoise Express cable car, thus offering the skiers from all over the world one of the largest and most varied ski area in the world.
An outstanding ski area ranging from 1200m to 3250 meters in altitude, Paradiski area gives a unique playground covering 435 kilometers of slopes for skiers of all levels through forests and on glaciers. With 70 % of the ski area over 2000m high and an up to date artificial snow network (one of the most modern in the world), Paradiski guarantees optimal snow conditions throughout the season.
The Vanoise Express, a technical achievement, recognized as the largest cable car in the world, consists of two double decker cabins running independently without any pylons between Plan Peisey and Montchavin cable car departure stations. As a result, 2000 people per hour can cross over the Ponthurin valley in less than 4 minutes and so, enjoy both ski areas.
True symbol of Paradiski, the cable car has inspired many novel events since it was created (The Sky Diner in 2015, Paradiski Gravity in 2014, Ride on the Roof in 2011) as well as a prestigious collaboration with the French designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac.
Conceived and designed by the SAP Technical Service in collaboration with the SIGMA Company and qualified authorities, Vertigo is a truly technical challenge that will ensure you experience vertiginous sensations.
