73350 Champagny-en-Vanoise

Opening

From 01/06 to 30/09.

DESCRIPTION

The Tour of Vallaisonnay offers a privileged moment with natur. Exceptional panoramas and views of the highest peaks of the massif, great fauna and alpine flowers are on the program.

Be careful, this hike is for athletes or people who can walk for 8 hours.
To start this hike, take the path parallel to the waterfall of "Py". Over the waterfall, the trail continues along the creek.
In about 2 hours, you reach the refuge of Plaisance (alt 2160 m). The path goes up quietly towards the pass of Plan Séry. Continue along the marked trail after the Plan Séry until you reach a junction (alt. 2320 m) and take a path on the right towards the Col du Palet overlooking the la Plagne lake. You will reach the GR5 at the level of the Grassaz. Follow it for 350 m then turn towards the Col of la Grassaz. You pass not far from Lake Verdet and see the lake of Grattaleu. Once at the col, begin the descent by following the direction "Laisonnay". The trail passes by the chalet of the rangers of the Park, the alpine chalet of Plan du Sel and the refuge of la Glière.
